Welcome to the first episode of Ask SleepAfloat where we address some of the most frequently asked questions regarding our floating vacation rentals. Today we discuss rules against driving the boats, items included in our rentals and accidental damage protection.
1. Can We Drive the Boat?
No of our boats are in-slip rentals and rented for accommodation purposes only. They can not be taken out. We do list two boats in Key West, the Capt. Andy and Allison Jane which are available for fishing charters or sunset cruises with a hired captain. You will find prices for these trips listed on the listings for the boats.
2. What is the Accidental Rental Damage Protection and is it a mandatory fee?
The Accidental Rental Damange Protection is something we require all guests to purchase. The cost is $39 and it waives up to $3,000 worth of accidental damage in lieu of a security deposit or hold on your credit card.
3. What is Included with the Rental?
You will find many of the same amenities you’d have in any other vacation rental or hotel room. We supply guests with linens, bath towels, shampoos, soaps, coffee, cookware, silverware and dishes. Most of what you will need to make a home cooked meal will be on the boat (aside from the food of course).
